Today we celebrate the future birth of one of Starfleet’s greatest captains: Kathryn Janeway!
Born May 20, 2336 in Bloomington, IN, Captain Janeway will be forever celebrated by the monument we’re erecting in her honor. As we all try to navigate the state of our current world with the grace of Tom Paris, we are all a little disappointed to have had to reschedule the unveiling, originally planned for this weekend. So, for a special Janeway Birthday Surprise, we wanted to give you an update on our sculpture and tell you when the new unveiling is taking place!
The top portion of our statue has been cast from its clay sculpt, and the bronze has been poured! After we attach it to the base and give it a little polishing, all that will be needed is your attendance at the unveiling!
